Bloobit Mecha Gallery
New member of the Biomechanical Bricks family! Completed November 2008.
Brother to the Grelnix, 18 pounds 36
inches tall. Started summer of 2008.
Features:
Two pilots, 1 in the
head and 1 in the
chest. Custom 2x2 LED eyelights by HiTechnic, 9v battery box. Head uses a
worm gear box for the up/down movement. Neck left/right moves via ball joints,
pivots on a 4x4 radar
dish. Inner
shoulder and hip
front/back motion use ball joints. Spine, hips and shoulders
use wormed Technic
turntables. Spine, hips and shoulder splay
use Throw Bot gear
boxes. Ankles,
knees,
inner hip splay and
spine use ball joint
tensioners. Ankles, knees, elbows and spine use
wormed z8 to z40
gearing techniques. Every good Mech has
a rocket pack!
Hands are fully
bendable, wrist uses click joints.

| Hello Eric, so this month is a very cheerfull one for the Mecha community. It started with marks awesome comeback and now you also state that you are still building too! (...) I really love your Bloobit. It incorporates everything I like on your (...) (16 years ago, 15-Nov-08, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
