New member of the Biomechanical Bricks family! Completed November 2008.
Brother to the Grelnix, 18 pounds
36 inches tall. Started summer of 2008.
Features:
Two pilots, 1 in
the head and 1 in
the chest. Custom 2x2 LED eyelights by HiTechnic, 9v battery box. Head
uses a worm gear box for the
up/down movement.
Neck left/right moves via ball joints,
pivots on a 4x4
radar dish. Inner shoulder and hip front/back motion use ball joints. Spine, hips and shoulders
use wormed Technic
turntables. Spine, hips and shoulder splay
use Throw Bot gear
boxes. Ankles,
knees,
inner hip splay and
spine use ball
joint tensioners. Ankles, knees, elbows and spine use
wormed z8 to z40
gearing techniques. Every good Mech has
a rocket pack!
Hands are fully
bendable, wrist uses click joints.

Wow Eric thats a fairly substantial sized piece of art, its good to see that
your still at it, as some of us feared we would never see your high quality
MOCs again when you mentioned you were retiring. Interesting to see your change
to humanoid mechas as opposed to the more traditional Robotic Cats, that we
have enjoyed over the years, its a pity that you never produced a small mecha to
be the prey of the Robotic Cats, a small rodent such as a Robotic Gerbil would
have been awesome, keep up the great work.
