  Re: Neo-Classic-Space Freighter WIP

(...) Hey Aaron, For me, the essence of the appeal of Classic Space is in its simplicity. I think you've really captured that with this model. I love the brick work on the wings instead of plates. I've been trying to go studless with most of my (...) (18 years ago, 23-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) That's even more harsh. (...) Either way, I look forward to getting snubbed by you again. If only in my mind. :) Brendan (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Latest capship

(...) Very nice. I'm normally a minifig-scale kinda guy, but this ship is a lovely piece of work. Has a real "don't mess with me" feel to it. (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Two moonbase modules from Brickfest 2006

(...) You'd better. Since I wasn't at Brickfest PDX in 2004. But the timing is better this year, so I might be able to make it. --Bram (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Sector 4 Tribunal

Keith, Amusing and inspiring, as usual. I'm happy to see that you have embraced the blay, and incorporated it so lovingly with old skool gray. In my opinion, 4 grays are better than 2. Please tell me I'll be able to drool on the Sector 4 Tribunal at (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Blackjack's Used 918s

"Hey, I'm Blackjack, and this is my trusty sales-bot Brea...er, I mean, Bley. "So you're lookin' for a 918, eh. We'll I got all kinds.   Re: Two moonbase modules from Brickfest 2006

(...) The last fest I made it to was Brickfest PDX in 2004 and the moonbase was in full effect. I remember seeing you there. In fact, I ran up to you with a big smile on my face and said, "Hey, Bram! It's me, you're old buddy Brendan!" but you just (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space)

Re: Two moonbase modules from Brickfest 2006

(...) Thanks! I think sometimes the smaller moonbase modules get lost between the supermodules, so it's nice to hear that! Have you been to a fest with a moonbase? I think the last time I saw you was the first Brickswest, but I could be (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space)

Re: Two moonbase modules from Brickfest 2006

(...) Wonderful, Bram! Your use of rounded angles and spheres on both modules are done very well. Any chance of seeing an movie/gif of the motorized one? "Big Daddy" Nelson (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Two moonbase modules from Brickfest 2006

(...) Bram, Just beautiful! There's a deep poignancy to the Earth Memory display, a kind that I've rarely seen in brick creations. There's a complete story in that scene. Wonderful! -best, Wolf (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Two moonbase modules from Brickfest 2006

Thanks for sharing these with those of us who couldn't make it to BF2006. These are a couple of the most impressive moon bases modules I've seen! When I saw the name Earth Memory Moonbase, I thought, "Oh my! Is this a world in which the Earth has (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Space kitties! Look out!

Scourge of the inner Solar System, space kitties have an affinity for traveling spaceships, and will latch on to the nearest one available. Apparently they seek the warmth radiating from the ship's hull, especially around the engine and windows, (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX) !

Re: Cosmic Muffins Flower-Power Mini RV

(...) Tim, Thanks much! The original inspiration was my daughter, who asked me to build her a car out of some pink pieces that were lying around. She forgot that her dad's into Space, so, she got a rocket RV instead of a car... But she loves it. I (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neo-Classic-Space Freighter WIP

(...) Aaron, Glad to know I'm helping inspire more Space in people! I put together a smaller ship in your style--doesn't come close to the coolness of yours. But I'll keep fiddling. There's much possibility in those wings! -best, Wolf (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neo-Classic-Space Freighter WIP

(...) Jeff, I like that idea! And I'll probably look into it as my next spaceship develops. Looking at those Eagle pictures made me wonder... Has anyone made a Space 1999 Eagle in minifig scale? Might be a fun and challenging project. -best, Wolf (18 years ago, 21-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)
