  Re: Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

(...) Masterful use of all those trans-green bricks. Recently the local Pick-A-Brick has been full of trans-blue and trans-red, and while not as hot as trans-green, I now see they have a use. This moonbase has a very dominating attitude. The sharp (...) (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.space)

<snip> (...) <snip> (...) and you left out "no fun whatsoever" (...) Beauty Keith, beauty. It's a heck of permitting office though. What with all your chatter of neighborhoods and fence heights, and allowable colors for homes. Just draft a charter (...) (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

(...) Lies! You'll never fool us, we've already pinpointed the location of your secret snack-cake factories. (...) Much like a shot-glass of paint thinner, your MOC inspires, arouses, and numbs my nose. Copious use of transparent and solid green is (...) (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

Thought I'd take another shot at moonbase design. There is no backstory, or purpose to the structure...just an excuse to use all those 1x2 trans green bricks again. (...) That would be a Toa Nuva canister lid pinned together with a Toa Metru lid I think they are listed under containers on Bricklink but I've never been able to get them there. (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.space)

Thanks Allister and Richie. I do appreciate the replies. (...) Richie, thanks for pointing out my ignorance of real world piracy. I know.. this is what I get for cross-posting to lugnet.pirates. But seriously, this is good feedback. I've gotten a (...) (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: "Izanami's Revenge" - space pirate vessel

(...) Nice space ship! But I'm not getting the pirate part of it. Besides saying "This is a space pirate ship" and "Arr! This be a space pirate ship!" what is it about this vessel that makes it a pirate ship? I don't think traditional piracy would (...)   Re: The Undulating Undulator

Nice, very nice. I like the crystal crab - some nice co-ordination of the transparent peices. I would love to see the squid-walker animated. It made me think of The Matrix as much as War of The Worlds. I love the idea of creating a complete set of (...) (19 years ago, 25-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Undulating Undulator

I was looking in your brickshelf folder at the MOCs shown there, and I was wondering which canister lid part ID you used on this model here, shown suspended by some plates with rope (I forget what the part ID is): (URL) might have a use for it if it (...)
