  Re: D E E P F R A H

(...) Thanks Jeff. I actually used the Iron Giant as a point of inspiration for the general shape of this mecha. I wanted to make it very Art Deco looking, and have the sort of lanky look of the IG. It feels like it came off pretty well. -Grand (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Classic Space LL930

(...) Thanks Anne :) I really like your stuff, btw! (...) I think you're right - if I were to try and follow on from LL928, the nose should be longer. But I actually experimented with that a lot before I started building, and I like the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

I also borrowed one idea from LL918 - the crew area (the middle compartment) roof is side hinged like the 918 cockpit. (...) I hadn't (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)
