  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) amazing! If I were Spaceforce I'd buy as many of these as I could! What I find especially nice: * The underside. Being a SHIP-builder myself I understand how difficult it is to design something that big and have it look good from -absolutely- (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Mini Star Wars and the Moonbase Project

Hey, Very cool. I think my favorite little bit is the way you used two 2x2 radar dishes at the top of the Sconce Hotel. It looks a lot like a rotating restaurant or that Space Needle in Seattle. Bruce (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

I think it's the greatest ship I've seen so far! A-W-E-S-O-M-E ! ! ! Terry (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) The detail is commendable. I especially like the 1x4 fence pieces with the star wars tech tiles underneath. little details like that really make the ship. The all-white interior really makes me think of an 80's sci fi show like Buck Rogers. :) (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

I don't know how much it's been done, but I really dig the smooth floors. Way nice touch! Looking a lot like the Yamato, turrets are extra shooty. The white makes the interior more sterile like I think. Not sure I totally dig the all white, but untl (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

(...) What's up Geordan? (...) YES! My second favorite thing, dropships! To quote you, this guy can take it, give it, and bring it... a beating that is. The chunkyness of this guy works very well. Retractable weapons are awesome, I think, and you (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!!!

Okay...the slopes addes to give the the hull a more Yamato-esque shape look awesome and the lower turret emplacements rock, as do the mine racks BUT let me tell you - that is honestly one of the best interiors I have EVER SEEN. The tiling, the (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) I did, very much so. Thanks! The details and interiour is amazing! The only thing that could be improved (?) would be if the two sides were not identical. IMHO. Or perhaps not. I can't make up my mind. On one hand, a non-symetrical ship is (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Dragonstar Reloaded!!!

Enjoy! :) Deep links: (URL) moderation: (URL) Props to Brian Stokes for pimpin' me 100's of gray slopes and special thanks to Kyle Keppler for design tips on the main gun turrets. (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Minowan concept comes to fruition

(...) I believe the front wheels are from the Flight sets; they appear to be from a dual-wheel piece (that mounts onto here normally: (URL) ); attached to the stud on the side of a white minifig airport control-wand-thingy. Check out (URL) not that, (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Minowan concept comes to fruition

(...) That's a beautiful canopy design. Actually, I don't mind the TIE print so much, as it's reminding me of the canopy for a B-29 "Superfortress"... not spacey, but I'd like to see that a lot. Does anyone know whether the front wheels turn? It (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Mini Star Wars and the Moonbase Project

(...) Derek, the mini-moonbase rocks. I like it much better than some of the regular size modules I've seen. It has a very cool, industrial feel to it. I especially liked the module that was mostly x-wing parts. I can only imagine how good it would (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Minowan concept comes to fruition

(...) Indeed. I love the job that this guy did on this, especially the cockpit. Very spacey. The orange stripe is great, and the round ring of chrome engines is a nice touch. -JHK (21 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Rebel Ground Transports

Thanks a lot, Paul. I took some pictures of both transports partially disassembled so you can see some of the SNOT. I hope it shows you what I did in them. Here's the link: (URL) @ Bruce's Homepage - (URL) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

(...) I absolutely LOVE how everything tucks in and you end up with a sleek, retro look. ~Grand Admiral (21 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Paul?

(...) As I recall, Paul has been working on the Eon for some time now (a year or so?). It's a luxury liner, I believe. He's posted an update to it every few months on Brickshelf over the last half year or more. (21 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Teaser

(...) Hey JHK, Lookin real cool! I think you're well on your way to successful PCS designing! I'll tell you what, you're one of the people who I have noticed the greatest design refinement in such a short space (no pun intended) of time. You're (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
