whats going on with our BF-MB plans? (was Re: Anyone going to Brickfest?)

This message is open to everyone but is specifically targeted at those folks that were in the drawing room last year to develope the moonbase project. We had discussed a pretty large project for BF2k3. Adrian had plans to make a giant mountain base, (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: Anyone going to Brickfest?

(...) I have flown to fests twice, and had pretty good luck transporting MOCs in checked baggage. Strangely, they don't consider a cardboard box "adequete packing" so you may want to get a trunk or other piece of "luggage". You may also want to make (...)   Re: USS Okazaki NCC-1960 WIP

(...) No prob. There are a couple of formats that I can send to you for use as a graphic. EPS-usualy sharper, tho at the size of minifig torsos, that may not really matter. JPG-it's basically a photo. This one is good if you want a small file. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: USS Okazaki NCC-1960 WIP

(...) Um. Format? LOL. I'm sort of a computer luddite here, please bear with me :) (...) I've got that somewhere too. The only problem I had in laying out the ship was with the engine room ... I was reminded that a ship of the TOS movie era would (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC Sparrow

Thanks guys. Though it isn't evident to me, I'm glad I have a distinctive style. That's really encouraging, Gil. By the way, I wrote some copy for The Sparrow at my site: (URL) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

One thing is for sure...you wouldn't want the Boar landing in your front yard. Man, what a bruiser. Often dropships are long an lean...an interesting take to go the other way and make it more bulky. It makes sense...able to take a lot of fire and (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: new site

(...) Stephen, That is a really neat site you have developed! Your manned mission sounds really interesting and looks magnificent! I can see from the available pics that a LOT of time and effort has gone into its design. I hear you about being away (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Anyone going to Brickfest?

(...) The simple solution? Bubble wrap and a prayer :) Depending on how far you have to travel, you may be able to get away with just putting everything in individual ziploc baggies so that when (not if, when) they come apart, the pieces are (...)   Roman's Runabout

One of Duane's last projects: Roman's Runabout. (URL) knowledge of this creation it limited. This is what I do know: compact,1 seater swivel type, single stud plates on the front are lights, forcefield door, emergency air features, and can dock into (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Anyone going to Brickfest?

Copied to .events.brickfest... (...) I believe John plays the violin. I do think that is great, but I am a big fan of his MOCs and hope to see them in person some day (perhaps another Fest some year, John?) As for me going to BrickFest 2003: Darn (...)
