Re: Moonbase Module: The Landing Pad

(...) The "cube" door was the result of a "DOH!". I built the platform and its legs first, and when I started building the lower facility next, I realized I didn't have a lot of room. I had decided on 3 corridor connections, with the main elevator (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Nifty! I like the way everything in this design just flows, one shape into another. Great use of trans-green parts, they almost look alive. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

Beautiful! I really dig your trusses, very industrial. And of course the cube door is utterly brilliant, as are the lifts. I agree the internal detail i a bit sparse, but the amazing exterior more than makes up for it. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Nifty! The support columns are really a marvel of engineering. I'd love to see more mechanized moonbase modules. Welcome back to space. Once the claws are in you, you won't be able to escape. Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

After a 15-year hiatus on space-themed MOCs, I've created a moonbase module: (URL) course I had to use a lot of Technic pieces and add motorization ;-) It has two lifts and a big door that are remotely controlled (using 4-channel R/C unit from (...)   Re: Hello

(...) As it seems you really don't know I'll throw in my little knowledge on the subject. I've never seen a Timmy fig IRL so I don't have the strong opinions about him. But supposedly ppl. don't like him for two reasons: 1) He came in a lot of sets (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
