Re: A few comments on decorated pieces

(...) On trans-elements, use of Brasso leaves the element slightly cloudy. On those printed 2x2 slopes, printing gets into the crevice running along the sides of the element and is not at all easy to get off even using Brasso. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: A few comments on decorated pieces

(...) How can I argue with this? All I can say is that you would be well served to go buy a can of Brasso somewhere, and strip that crap off. (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  New Seed Part

There is a new Seed Part in the .space sidebar. Check it out! (URL) will have a new computer review ready soon. I'm also going to fill in more of the URLs on the Roll Call.   A few comments on decorated pieces

Hey all, The piece I'm talking about actually comes from an Alpha Team set, but I think it applies to Space since Lego is supposed to be about "flexibility." This principle is what I take umbrage with, since TLG does not seem to be applying it with (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC: Micro Mech

(...) Heh, guess I just read that comment from a rather odd angle. Just got back from a short hiatus/ vacation, so I'm not exactly feeling back to speed.   Re: New MOC: Micro Mech

(...) Ah, feedback from the legomaster. Well, my thanks for the comments! This was just a small project until I get the parts to build some micro-bots, or start my online novella. Maybe I'll make a few more variations when I get the chance. Again, (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Micro Mech

(...) My thanks for the comments. (...) I'd say somewhere around thirty minutes. It was a very small project, but it did comsume plenty of smaller plates. (...) Until I get a better parts supply, I might only be able to make mini-sets. <<_Matt (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Starship-A new RPG

Dan Mattia's e-mail server is down, so I (Sean) am posting this for him: Since around September, about 8 people have been making a LEGO RPG.   Re: The XR20 Tadpole.

Tim, Nice clean little ship! Nice use of the canopies and the round tile from the Bounty Hunter Chase for the engine intakes. And the bombs look really sharp where they are. Good job! Joe Meno (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

That's very neat. I always like 'large' microfig ships, the details look very cool. I particullarly like the bridge, 'wing' bits in the back, and the 'comm tower.' Do you have any pics of the light assembly? Very cool. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
