  Defender Starfighter MOC

Happy Easter everybody. Well I fianlly got around to taking pictures of my new model. With this one I kinda went back to a more traditional/mordern fighter jet look and tried something new with the engine intakes (not really intakes if it's in (...)   Re: Fancy Docking Idea

(...) I remember reading about a universal docking mount a few months back with some great ideas on configuration and purpose. I was wondering if it ever developed into anything. I think it was at that point I started to think about the conjoining (...) (23 years ago, 31-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Fancy Docking Idea

(...) actually, this is a cool idea IMHO... I have small droids that caretake the hull and stuff, not as small as Jon's droids, my ships only have about 4 to 8 of these, they could be run from this lamprey class ship too. I can totally see this (...) (23 years ago, 31-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

In lugnet.space, Mark Nelson writes: <snip> (...) <snip> Ok, thanks. I'll try that. But see, all the pieces are in CAD. I want to actually/physically touch the dropship. As you see, I am still a teen (under 14 yrs of age) so I give my LEGO models a (...) (23 years ago, 31-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: What happened to Project Armstrong?

(...) I think that everybody quit the first time due to the fact that there were to many people in it. It would probably work better with a 2-3 person team. That sounds like a good plan to me -- Post or email me which sections you'd be interested in (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: What happened to Project Armstrong?

(...) I sure would. From the planning it looked really cool. However, considering that everybody else quit the first time, do you think that it is viable? Maybe if we went ahead and built the first few sections, people would feel that it was (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

Also, the address has changed and is now: (URL) old address may be still valid for some time. Thanks all, Damien (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle)

  Re: The DS1000 Project

(...) I can help you with that last part. CAD. Unlimited pieces and all of them free. What I do is (as I have already done with the Drislogan Big Dipper and the Carona Stardecker, although the Stardecker has now been retired for it's pieces) is CAD (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Fancy Docking Idea

I like Gil's idea of an umbilicus ship and can see such a ship in action. I am still working on the original challenge of making something flexible. I agree with Dan that the door in the Final Duel I set looks pretty cool andd two can be connected, (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: I'm an AFOL!!!

Wow, Stephen! You sure have some great ideas. The moons of Jupiter have always greatly appealed to me since reading Farmer in the Sky by Roberet A. Heinlein when I was a boy (I am - uhum - slightly older than you are). You'll love the book if you're (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)
