Hey, Curt.

As you probably noticed I was assigned Ecological Engineering as well as
Medical. Sadly, my Ldraw skills wern't so great at those times (nothing like
what I can do now, as the Deux will testify:
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/LegoDude/Space/deux.jpg ) so I found it to
be a bit beyond my abilities... I do have a few chunks of my section done,
but I found several problems with the charter.

For one thing, it was never decided about if it would be pure-cad. How can
you include a non-cad object into a cad spacestation? It's impossable.

After a while, new things came into my priorities and Armstrong was
forgotten. However, if you'd care to help me revive it, I'd welcome you. :)

I sure would. From the planning it looked really cool. However, considering
that everybody else quit the first time, do you think that it is viable?
Maybe if we went ahead and built the first few sections, people would feel
that it was possible.

If we could restart this project, I would definintly be interested in
participating in the reviving of it. I would also like to build a section or
two.

PS: If anybody sees a new model in my Brickshelf folder and thinks it's cool
but doesn't see a post about it by me, feel free to post about it -- I
usually don't post about the things in my Brickshelf folder.

I saw that huge tan hovertank-its awesome! Do you have any more images of it?

(...) I think that everybody quit the first time due to the fact that there were to many people in it. It would probably work better with a 2-3 person team. That sounds like a good plan to me -- Post or email me which sections you'd be interested in (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)
