  Re: Zienar Transport Systems

(...) Tim... I got to the site, but half the time when I follow a link, it gives me a 404 not found error. But if I go back and try again, it works - usually. Odd.. I like the modular transport - that's a nice idea. The Midknight fighter is pretty (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Low Earth Orbit is closer than you think!

(...) Well, the whole underbody is the scramjet. At supersonic speeds, each change in angle will produce a shockwave, so the bottom of the vehicle has been cunningly designed to produce a series of compressive shockwaves (which also contain the (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

(...) This creation brings tears to my eyes. I think I can rinse my entry right down the drain after seeing this. It's a shame to think that all the time and effort I spent working up a lather during the creative proccesses will likely end up as (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: My own Hoverbike Ferrari x3-TurboFan

(...) True enough. (...) That was pretty, wasn't it? I'm just waiting for Seattle and Cleveland to meet up in the AL Championships and for Seattle to choke per usual -- after breaking the record for most wins/season of course so everyone expects (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: I've updated...

(...) Felix, I thought your castle was good, it was inspiring to see how well you could make complex curves with mostly basic bricks. It reminds me of a Disney castle. The St. Theresa is nice, I'd like to see more. Rivendale is neat, I see some good (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, lugnet.castle)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

(...) I felt my heart sink when I saw this. I didn't want to pipe up and say anything because I knew it was a grate model. You've tapped into the soul of us all with this one! Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: How do YOU make your hangar bay doors?

(...) Ahh, those things, more frequently used (at least for me) as trailer hitches in classic space sets. I've always called classic space trailer hinges, as I'm not that aware of many train sets (okay, any train sets) that use this. Adrian -- (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: My own Hoverbike Ferrari x3-TurboFan

(...) That's what happens when a contest is annouced. (...) Hehe, I could've come up with another one last night, but decided I'd rather lay around and watch my Cleveland Indians beat up on the Minnesota Twins :) (...) That's pretty neat. Nice use (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

  Hoverthing Contest Entry

Our entry is here (URL) is the personal hover device for Roman Arcane built by his son Duel. It is powered by a revolutionary dual obsidian shard arrangement.   Re: I've updated...

Very nice stuff Felix. I'd also like to see more interior pics of some of the ships, such as the Epiphany, Scuttle-Butt and Spiked Fist, if that is possible. And I'm also a fan of the cockpit of the Space Scout, and may 'adopt' something similar in (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, lugnet.castle)

  My own Hoverbike Ferrari x3-TurboFan

Ye gods! I don't look in this group for a week after complimenting Joel Kuester on his hoverbike and the whole place is fulla' them! Most cool -- being as it's late, I'm not going to post to each one, but guys... you make me wanna toss my meager (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: How do YOU make your hangar bay doors?

(...) Heh...I've never heard those called 'train hinges' before. I can see how they're used on trains (I would assume to couple two cars), but that would somewhat limit a train on its ability to go up and down a grade. Anyways, do you have pics of (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)
