Hehe, neither had I until I took a good look at one of the trains in the Lego catalog and then saw the part on brickbay. It's a 2x4 flat piece with a 3 plate tall end part that is either a small peg, or a holder for the peg, which allows 90° (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) That's an excellent use for the "8" system--I'd looked at it as a mega-axle for rotation (with the Droid Escape panels) but with a little tweaking of the depth, and the use of some 4x4x1 bricks and 8x8 round plates, it could be "spaced up" (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)
