Re: Scala New Releases 3148 through 3159

(...) I'm pretty sure the bear cubs are the same part as the Arctic polar bear. (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.scala)

Re: Scala New Releases 3148 through 3159

(...) Hello, Shiri! As for the bear cubs, I'm sure they'll be small enough to be giant bears for the minifigs. Just like the cats in the minifig world come in Scala sets as tiny, tiny kittens. But I do hope they won't use the polar bear mold from (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.scala)

Re: Scala New Releases 3148 through 3159

Hi Yuki, Thanks for the info! I can't help wondering if it's confirmed, but it sounds cool! I wonder if the bear cubs will fit as grown bears in minifig scale... -Shiri (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.scala)

Scala New Releases 3148 through 3159

I just talked to a couple of people at LEGO S@H and got some information on new Scala sets!! They still don't know when these items will come out, and they don't have a complete list of the items yet, but at least I found out the names of four of (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.scala)

  Rare Andrea 3133

I got a very rare Andrea doll from Lego Outlet in Georgia the other day. This doll is from 1999 and the item # is 3133. I had thought they never made Andrea doll for that year because no catalogues mention it! They officially released only Emma and (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.scala)

Description of 3116 Cool Icecream Cafe

The Cool Icecream Cafe (3116) which I ordered from New Zealand finally came last week. It has a soft-serve icecream machine piece which you can not find in any other sets but 3246 (the icecream shop from 1998) as far as I know. You can make it push (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.scala)

Re: No new Scala items for 2000?

(...) Nope, don't think there are any. I guess Scala wasn't that successful to make TLC bother making new products every year... HTH, Shiri (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

No new Scala items for 2000?

Does anybody know whether there'll be any Scala stuff this year? The line isn't even mentioned in the January S@H catalogue. (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

  Re: Finding Set 3107

(...) Why don't you try it again. I think it should work. Last week the guy from the store e-mailed me back about my order and he said he was going to take a holiday break for a week or so. If you e-mail him this week, hopefully he'll respond to (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

  Re: Finding Set 3107

  Re: Finding Set 3107

(...) I collect Scala items and I don't think this one is available at S@H like several other Scala items. What you could do is order one from another country. I know Nick Ashman's Lego Superstore in New Zealand has most of the Scala items from '98 (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

  Finding Set 3107

I'm trying to find set #3107(Andrea in Sunny Dress) that I saw on Lugnet's "Browse Set". I've called Shop@home, but they don't even have that item listed. I wonder anyone has that set, and where to buy it. Thanks... (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

Re: Cool stuff in Scala 3117

One other interesting thing, I haven't checked it out for sure yet, but the baseplate has an extra rim which looks like it will make it the same thinkness as a plate instead of slightly thinner. This is also the case for the baseplate in Belville (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

Re: Cool stuff in Scala 3117

(...) 1x1 round bricks will fit in the center of a Scala stud (as will any other shape which has the same cross section as a tube). The studs are normal height, so 2xY plates also work. (...) Doesn't the dolphin have a 2x4 tube area on the bottom? (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

  Cool stuff in Scala 3117

Hey: The first thing you may wish to know about scala is that it is only semi- compatible with regular lego bricks -- for example, only bricks 2 studs across will work on the baseplate. Despite this shortcoming, I like the baseplate a lot. I see (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.scala)

Re: Horrible quote from the Scala web catalog

(...) Oddly enough, I've heard, asked, and seen, that women dress more for each other than for men. While I realize that this line could be a special case, it would have been better if TLC could have made it more [typical] like this: "I bought the (...)   THANK YOU

Hi Legofans, I received many want lists, and I want to thank you for your trust ! Don't hesitate to send me your want lists the next year, all the days, all the weeks...! I search for you; I find for you... Regards, Emmanuel. E-MAIL: (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.scala)
