  Re: Spybotics Comms

(...) Sorry, think I have mixed some things up. People from the Lego hotline told me the ir-interface of the RIS 2.0 RCX has been changed and communication to a spybot is not possible. Are these changes only because of the usb-tower and do they have (...) (22 years ago, 11-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

  Re: Spybotics Comms

(...) You already have an RCX 2.0. Aside from printing "RCX 2.0" on the plastic, the RCX in RIS 2.0 is identical to the one included in RIS 1.5. Since you have downloaded the 2.0 firmware, you should be all set. Dave (22 years ago, 11-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

  Re: Spybotics Comms

(...) Hi Mark, am I right, all you have described above only works with a RCX2.0-hardware cause of the changed IR-interface? Is there any chance to communicate between Spybot and RCX1.5 (with 2.0 firmware)? If there is no, I will have to buy a (...) (22 years ago, 10-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

  Spybots IR Comm

Hi, I buyed a Spybot short time ago and started to try programming it with BricxCC and NQC. From the software included in the spybot-package I know, that spybots can send IR messages to each other in order to get the other bots´ position. My (...) From my experience, The remotes, when first turned on, seem to send out the signals on all channels (1,2,3), until a specific channel is picked--then the remote only works for the robot that is on that specific channel.   Re: Ipaq 3835: using building programs and using built-in IR

Wow, Someone who knows about this!!! First off, do you have any clue on how to access the IR port from a embedded VC++? I know how to program in C++, and VisualBasic, but how does VisualC++ work?
