I thought I would pass on what I have learned. Robolab sends very different code to the RCX than you might assume. For example, "Wait for Rotation" will always clear the rotation sensor first! I am pretty certain I have found a bug in RoboLab. The behavior is reversal of output A. Has anyone experienced behavior from RoboLab that they are certain is not a programming error? Yes. Install the "extras" from the "project" menu. You will then get a yellow stop sign, which floats the motors instead of brakeing them. Yes there is a constructopedia for RL. It is included in the Team Challenge building set, not the activity pack. The activity packs are sets of activities to implement in the classroom. (...) biggest (...) There is a Constuctopedia for ROBOLAB? As far as I can see in the Pitsco- Dacta Catalog (c. 2000) ROBOLAB sets have "Activity Packs" which are similar to Constructopedias. Can someone with the ROBOLAB Constructopedia tell me if the Acrobot is in there? The Acrobot is in the Mindstorms Constructopedia 1.0 and again in the Mindstorms Constructopedia 1.5 slightly modified. It uses all 4 of the biggest wheels and can flip (...) In Robolab 2.0 the eight DCP container constructs store the raw value of the sensor. This means the value stored is not in rotations, volts, dB, etc. but in a raw measurement of these values. Robolab 2.0 and 2.01 programmer extras has a bug in the DCP sound sensor construct "Wait for increasing sound". Found and reported a minor bug in sound generation using either Robolab 2.0 or 2.1. The bug does not happen with ROM 0309 but happens on 0326. I had the same problem with a single-user copy ordered in the UK. The Dacta catalogue had the wrong part number in it for RoboLab 2.0. It said it was part # 2000050, but it should have been 2000051. Agghh.. Our school just ordered RoboLab (site license) from Pittsco, received it April 2nd, and IT'S ONLY 1.5 !!!!! What did we do wrong?? Can we upgrade / exchange this??
