I'm interested in other people's experience with various terminal emulators on Linux. I've been using minicom with indifferent results, probably because it doesn't support delays between lines which possibly overruns pbforth's serial input. minicom (...) 1) scripts/muldemo.txt uses the word HAT instead of ALLOT_TASK. Does HAT actually exist or is this left over from hforth. 2) Tasking by convention? When do tasks switch? PAUSE obviously. Does the prompt handler (CLI) do multitasking? In otherwords if a new task is started and control returns to the CLI will the new task ever run? I think I am asking whether it calls PAUSE in a loop while waiting for user input? (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)
