| The only thing I could think of is if NQC thinks you are generating code for some other device (e.g. CyberMaster). Try adding -Trcx2 to the command line to force NQC to target RCX2. If that doesn't fix it, email me the program and I'll take a look. (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

| I have released a new (beta) version of Robot Controller, the ideal companion to NQC for Mac OS X. This version adds support for serial IR towers (provided you have a working serial port) and makes several other minor improvements. Download it now (...) | Hi. Can anyone help me with a problem I'm having. I'm writing a fairly simple program in NQC and when I compile I get an error saying "undefined variable SENSOR_LIGHT" The line that generates this error is simply: SetSensor(SENSOR_1, SENSOR_LIGHT); (...) Run two pieces of train track parallel to each other, with four spots' width separating (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

| Hi JDF, Thanks for the feedback. I know it's not a Turing machine in the true sense, but let me tell you what I'm trying to do. At the moment I realize that I have built a sort of binary adder. But what I am currently implementing is a change in (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Even ignoring Turing's original idea that the tape is infinite, the problem is that the Turing machine placed its output back on the tape. It (...)
