We asked our lawyers about this many months ago, when the whole issue first
came up. It's okay with them if the name "legOS" is used in a "formerly
known as" context. Just like what you describe, basically - to make sure
people understand that there's been a name change but it's the same software.
All the names sound great so far. To reiterate, the main thing we're
concerned about is a name that incorporates any of our actual trademarks
(RCX, Mindstorms, LEGO, etc.)

So my list is: 1 - robOS 2 - BrickNix I don't have a number 3 favorite. Did LEGO say anything about their feelings (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
