 | | Cubesolver with USB Tower?
| Hi, has anyone tried to make JP Brown's Cubesolver ((URL) compatible with the USB Tower? I saw on (URL) there is a replacement for spirit.ocx (used for the serial tower), called phantom, and on that website it says "...delete the Spirit.ocx control (...) | | Re: Robolab, byte codes and assembler
| (...) My arguments would be: 1. The firmware/sensor arrangement is _broken_. Fixing it should be legal. 2. The FIRST rules permit using different firmware implicitly, because they permit using RIS or Robolab, which requires different firmware. 3. (...) | | RCX communication
| Hi, (Sorry, my English is not good) I would like to know if it's possible to use legOS (LNP) to get communications between RCXs without the PC, I mean, without an intermediate between the RCXs. And, if it's possible, how can I do that ? I'm using 3 (...) (26 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| Hi Sebastian, (...) I don't know the schematics of that sensor interface, but I think it's basically a bad idea to drive a device that needs 30 to 50 mA from a powersource that can only output about 10 mA. | | RE: [long] Interrupt programming, buggy code
| Having fun yet :-) There are a few things you might want to keep in mind when writing ISRs for the RCX... First, avoid calling into the ROM from an interrupt handler. | | RIS 2.0 and Windows 2000
| I spent a week googling about trying to see if RIS 2.0 worked under Windows 2000 or not, to no avail. I specifically asked Lego and they said it was unsupported (as expected).
