I'm Tamotsu Kamigaki from Japan. I am teaching the Computer Science in university. I had already modified the RcxCC to support the Scout and the USB IrTower that is included in RIS2.0 set. Sigh. Doesn't look like there is any chance that this would work for *nix, except maybe with severe Wine hackery. Has anyone else (with any of the other alternative OSs) tackled the problem of the new towers? I suppose I can try plying one of my (...) Ok, I think I figured it out...I don't completely understand the logistics of makefiles, but I changed the following line in Makefile.common: Before: CFLAGS = -O2 -Wall After: CFLAGS += -O2 -Wall I suspect that a later assignment to CFLAGS was (...) I don't post to these groups very often, being mostly a lurker, but I am attempting to make a contribution to the world of lego robotics. I am working on what will be an open source version of the spirit.ocx. In fact it's been available as an alpha (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Hello, I have recently downloaded the legos-0.2.6 version and have built it under windows Cygwin. when I give the command being in the boot directory where legOS.srec is export RCXTTY=USB ../util/firmdl3 legOS.srec it says USB: No such file or (...) (22 years ago, 5-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Okay, I gave in and bought one of the serial towers listed on bricklink. I now have a ROM image, but am unable to disassemble it. Whatever options I pass to h8300-hitachi-hms-objdump I get: BFD: rom.srec:12: Unexpected character `0' in S-record file (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
