| (...) Well it definitely doesn't work with the USB tower yet. Once I get some drivers for my USB tower I will get it working and post a new version. In the mean time, if you want to use the new code templates and code completion features you might (...) (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

|
| Hey, I have the same question! I've been driving myself crazy for the last few days trying to find some information on the subject. I sent an e-mail to Markus Noga, the author of LegOS and he said it doesn't support USB, only serial. I cant even (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | Re: Blocking The Lego Remote?
|
| (...) This is a very basic problem with the whole LEGO IR protocol -- you can't address a specific RCX/Scout without also reaching every other brick in the room. I believe this is the reason why the RCX has the short-range IR setting. The approach I (...) (23 years ago, 27-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

| (...) I just got a new catalog from Pitsco. Along with it was an extra one page "Mindstorms for Schools" sheet with Robolab 2.5 (F900054 $59) and the USB tower (F979783 $29) on it. 1-800-362-4308. | Hi Bernd, When you need it really fast, you sholud use legOS instead of NQC. A program written with NQC uses the LEGO firmware, which is a ByteCode Interpreter. This pogram is interpreted Byte after Byte from firmaware. The firmware executes the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
