| | Some assorted questions
|
| Hi, all - I was reading through the sources, and I noticed that starting with 0.2.3, there was no dsound_play. Does anybody know why the 8 kHz sound playing subsystem was taken out? That was, IMHO, a way cool feature. Was it just too buggy? Also, I (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| Hi, 1: does anybody know if the collision detection in the (LNP) logical layer relies on the LNP-packtstructure of is this kind of collison detection done without knowing the packetstructure of LNP ? 2: does anybody have simple routines to send and (...) | Ed, Thanks, I was familiar with that thread. Unfortunately not much useful info came out of it. I was hoping for a report from someone who was ultimately successful in building legOS and its tools, as well as building the cross-compilers on a USB OS (...) | | RCX 2.0 Difference

| I have got both an RCX1.0 and RCX2.0 unit. The RCX2.0 has a much less sensitive IR port. I would use the remote control to send messages and start and stop programs and to trigger motors. With the RCX1.0 the remote could be pointed at the unit and (...) (23 years ago, 7-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
