 | | Mini RADAR or SONAR for the RCX
|
|
Hi, Does anyone know where I could purchase a relatively cheap mini RADAR or SONAR device that I could use with my RCX? Any help will be appreciated. Cheers, (25 years ago, 23-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Yes, it's possible. You get less voltage with NiCads, so the motors don't turn as fast as they do with brand-new alkalines. Plus they don't last as long. However, they're so much cheaper to run! I used to use NiCads during development and general (...) (25 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I'm not sure about how many I/O ports the H8/3000 in the RCX has. Are they all used in the RCX? (25 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

So what causes it to 'forget' the firmware. Doesn't it store it in Flash memory? Or does it require batteries to be installed all the time? Matt (25 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
