One way to accomplish this is to use wireless serial devices. These RF
devices allows one to hook up ANY serial device wireless. I have seen some
listed on ebay for about $100+. The setup is as follows:
PC--> serial transmitter serial receiver-->IR Tower
I dont know if it is two way or not. It acts like a wireless bridge that
sends the data back and forth between the PC and the serial device....
