Hi
We just got into RCX. We have been using my Palm III and Visor to control the
RCX.
We have this great idea but need some help. We have an old Logitech Trackman
remote control mouse. It uses RF.
The idea is to some how convert the Serial output from the RF mouse to RCX
IR. We can mount the mouse rcv on the Robot.
I belive this connection is one way which does have some limitation. It is
cheap. The xmit side has a trackball which could be used to control the RCX.

| One way to accomplish this is to use wireless serial devices. These RF devices allows one to hook up ANY serial device wireless. I have seen some listed on ebay for about $100+. The setup is as follows: PC--> serial transmitter serial receiver-->IR (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| Hi! I also try to use RF to replace IR communication. My idea, to create a RF/IR two way adapter and to make an RF tower connected with PC. The adapter taped with RCX can receive RF signals from PC and pass to RCX by using IR emitter. And if RCX (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
