Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) Todd, I know there was an RCX #1 (000001). I'm pretty sure both the 1.0 and 1.5 are marked as 1.0 At one time, someone started a list of RCX numbers. I couldn't find it on the web. I have a 2.0 numbered 767082 Steve (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) I have 690581, it's a 2.0 brick, but I can't be sure whether it's from MS 1.5 or 2.0. ROSCO (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) Marc Atkin's Film: "2001: A LEGO Odyssey" had an RCX with the number 412789 on it. It is not know or clear from the video if the RCX was a 1.0 version with DC power lead. Todd (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

What's the highest number RCX out there?

RCX owners, What is the highest number RCX out there? One assumes that the RCX with the highest number would represent the number made if you also assume that the RCX bricks were made sequential. So I would like for others to report the highest (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Will NXT will work on Intel Macs ???

Hi, given that Intel Macs come with Rosetta as the legacy compatibility layer, even if LEGO doesn't ship NXT with universal binaries, the SW should run on the Intel Macs with reasonable performance. I'm quite curious about NXT actually since it took (...) (18 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Will NXT will work on Intel Macs ???

(...) The system requirements at lego.com say it requires MacOS X v. 10.3.9 or 10.4 and I'm pretty sure that runs on Intel Macs? So I'm guessing yes. But you could always contact LEGO customer support and ask. They might be able to help. ROSCO (18 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

All is in the subject... Thanks, - Christophe - (18 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: RCX & RIS, a fading glory?

(...) Well, golly! some of this is coming true. (^_^) (albeit three years later) I for one am mighty happy about the rechargable battery in the Education version of the NXT!!! Sounds like it might even have direct power options. -Suz (who really (...) (18 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: Does my RCX work?

(...) Hi Marc, After you put batteries in, press the on/off button, it should beep twice and show a little man beside the number 1. If you don't get that, you have problems they may be fixable, but you probably want to seek help from someone (...) (18 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

  Re: Does my RCX work?

(...) First, put batteries in it and turn it on. It'll beep 'ok'. Then attach a technic 9v motor to port A with a wire and press Run. If the motor spins, the brick has basic sanity, and it's worth your time and money to get a IR tower to program it (...) (18 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)
