Re: Using the RCX for animating LEGO Train displays?

NGLTC (and other train club) members have been getting creative with their mindstorms. 1) Rail Racers! 2) Lewis Valentine has made a working train drawbridge on the NGLTC layout. It's taken him a lot of tinkering, but it works very well! 3) Street (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

(...) What can you do with an RCX? That doesn't sound very off-topic. :) (...) One name to start with: Brian Alano. He's a member of IndyLUG, and he's done some amusement park rides, and things like that. (...) Most of these things you can ask about (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Communication Speed, PC -> RCX, LEJOS!

(...) Hi Roger, Thank you for your help, it is a bit strange that you dont see any problems, since it is the same protocols we are using. I dont think the joystick is the problem since I have the same problem with inputs from keyboard or mouse, but (...)   pneumatic trouble

Kevin- I am trying to build a heavy duty automatic truck transmission, and I have a few questions concerning pneumatics. 1) I did a few rough sketches of what the transmission would look like (the main part of it is the valve, which I originally (...)   Using the RCX for animating LEGO Train displays?

Please pardon the interruption, as this is probably a bit off-topic, and is more a distraction than a contribution at this point. ;-) I've been looking in the various LUGNET forums, hoping to find a link to a good page of clues for using the RCX in (...)   Re: Light Sensor question

(...) Sam, By default programming when you configure a sensor input to be a light sensor, it gives you back readings in the 0-100 range (i.e. percentage of the maximum possible reading). To get better resolution (which I expect you might want), you (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: RCX datasheet

Hallo Andreas, (...) not that I know of, but take a look at (URL) , that should answer most questions. This is about RCX 1.0, but the 2.0 is identical w.r.t. software and very similar w.r.t. hardware. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to (...)
