Hello!
REmember when I kept on asking those (yes, maybe annoying) questions about
the LCD inputs and outputs? WEll, here's the reason why. On Pages 193 to 200
of the book the Robot Builder's Bonanza- 99 inexpensive robotics projects,
author Gordon Mccomb describes how to make a robot 'speak', via a parallel
port. From what I know this SHOULD work, though I can't guarrantee success.
If you have this book: try it out. I myself, have not, though, because the
SPO256-al2 speech processing is not readilly available to me (That is, I
would have to mail order a single <$10 I.C. and pay $5 shipping and
handeling.) Please, someone, either wearn me, and others, if this would not
work, or try it yourself and tell us (the mailing list your results!
thanks!
