Hi. I had to remove the CTRL-M's from the file. After I did that it loaded into IC no problem. So the MS-DOS v3.1 beta 4 of IC doesn't handle them. But I came across another problem. Maria, Can you follow the instructions for prepping ICB files at (URL) let us know if that solves the problem? I had been told that this problem was solved in the 3.1 versions of IC, but perhaps not. Hi, I'm using IC v3.1 beta 4. When I try to load the servo_a5.icb and the servo_a7.icb that I downloaded from the handyboard web page I get the following error: Fatal internal error: Illegal line in .s19 file And then it completely kicks out of IC. Here is a rule of thumb to keep handy when converting R/C cars to robots; o If the R/C car used either NiCd batteries, or it had a NiCd battery pack, the motors will draw too much current for the Handyboard. From your post it seems that only one battery was used. It is best to have the motor(s) running from a separate battery. Peter I tried to do modify a racer and found that the motors drew so much current that the board would continually reset. I seem to remember a while ago some person on this group was talking about making a robot from one of those tyco rc cars.
