Where is "set_digital_threshold()" in IC 3.18?

Last year in my 6.270-style course the students used "set_digital_threshold()" which was in lib_r22.c. With the newer IC I can't find it. Is it there? ***...*** * Greg Starr, Professor and Graduate Advisor * * Department of Mechanical Engineering ph (...) (28 years ago, 30-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Assembly language and the handyboard

(...) Ed -- are you referring here to IC's mechanism for linking to assembly language files, the "IC Binary" interface? It's really not too hard to use, and allows users to create assembly language programs that are callable from IC using the C (...) (28 years ago, 27-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  sim6811 v1.3 for Mac available

Tomaso Paoletti has kindly sent me the latest version of his 6811 simulator, easily the best available for the Macintosh. It's available on cher in the projects/6811 directory, but cher is down right now, so you can get it from the HB home page: (...) (28 years ago, 26-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Batteries

Hi, I once found a site that had documentation of an experiment conducted to test battery life (mainly common ones like AA,C,D,9V, etc.) of batteries by the different manufacturers. I couldn't find the site again. Has anyone seen this site? (...) (28 years ago, 26-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  17 feet

Well, I haven't looked at the sonar routines, but my guess is that 17 feet round trip at around 1ms / foot each way is close to 32.768 ms, which is when the 16 bit timer in the 6811 overflows (the 6811 clocks the 16-bit counter at 2 Mhz). One idea (...) (28 years ago, 26-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  upper address byte, etc.

Greetings all I'm currently working on what you might call an expansion board. I need to gain access to the upper address byte, A15-A8, the E clock, and the reset line, in addition to the data bus. just a couple questions. 1. I know i read (...)   polaroid sensors

Ok, now that everyone has had plenty of time to play with their polaroid sensors, has anyone been able to measure distances of over about 17 feet using the sonar test routines on cher? After that distance, I just get measurements of 0'0"... :-( I (...) (28 years ago, 26-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) Ed- Two ways I am looking into: (a) Run a (freely available) shell called "PDE6811" on the PC, which includes an editor, assembler and simulator.
