Well, I haven't looked at the sonar routines, but my guess is that 17 feet round trip at around 1ms / foot each way is close to 32.768 ms, which is when the 16 bit timer in the 6811 overflows (the 6811 clocks the 16-bit counter at 2 Mhz). Greetings all I'm currently working on what you might call an expansion board. Ok, now that everyone has had plenty of time to play with their polaroid sensors, has anyone been able to measure distances of over about 17 feet using the sonar test routines on cher?
