Re: How to disable ROM on E9 part?

I hate replying to my own posts, but I think I know a bit more about the problem now, therefore different questions are in order. Answer to my first question: It looks like the HC11 is supposed to automatically clear the EEPROM, CONFIG, and RAM if (...) (28 years ago, 1-Jul-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Ordering of handy board.

Maybe this is an off topic but ... I ordered a handy board to Digital Microsystems about 5 weeks ago and I still know nothing about it. I just wanted to ask (in case any of you have experience dealing with this supplier) how long does it usually (...) (28 years ago, 1-Jul-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

How to disable ROM on E9 part?

Help! I'm trying to get my handyboard to go into download mode via the STOP/Power-On sequence, and it doesn't go into the correct mode. The PWR LED doesn't go out when I do this sequence. Have tried downloading with DLM, HBDL, and DL to no avail (...) (28 years ago, 1-Jul-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  timer flags

The timer flags are cleared by either loading the accumulator with the bits you want cleared and then storing them in the timer flag register, or by using BCLR with a complemented mask. -Dirk "I speak from experience" (28 years ago, 29-Jun-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  (no subject)

In regards to the bit manipulations of the timer flags... I concede. At this time I have neither the mental capacity nor the desire to figure out what is correct. After copying the paragraphs earlier, I am only sure that the documents could use some (...) (28 years ago, 29-Jun-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) Very confusing, especially since at the beginning of the same file, there are the lines: * Setup Interrupt for Encoders * LDX #BASE BSET TCTL2,X %00001100 /* Interrupts TIC3,TIC2 rising edge*/ BCLR TFLG1,X %00000010 /* Clear IC3,IC2 Flags */ (...)   hb basic questions.

Well this is my first post and my first look at the handy board. I have a couple of basic questions, sorry if this is maybe asking for the obvious but I didn't find answers to these on the web nor in the archive. Anyway thanks already for all and (...)
