I believe the 9.6 volt also makes a good match for most LEGO motors. -Pandit ---...--- (...) batteries... (...) overhead (...) your (...) Lithium (...) specs. (...) (26 years ago, 29-May-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I personally use a single 12 V 3Ah Gell cell to power my entire robot. ...was just wondering if the Handy-Board can run on other types of batteries besides Ni-Cds, such as: NiMH batteries which have higher mAh ratings vs. a Ni-Cd equivalent. I notice that in hbmanual.pdf there is a different value for R4 than in hba.pdf since I used the list of hbmanual, I bought R4=2.94k precision resistor, but in the asembly file it says 3.83k precision resistor. I'm working on a board and I would like to avoid much trial and error. I have read much on selection of pad sizes/via sizes and hole sizes but there seems to be some contridiction.
