(...) is >there? I don't think so, but I am not an EE major. No, there isn't any harm in using a 1/4 watt in place of a 1/8 watt resistor. The 1/4 watt can handle more power than the 1/8 watt. I was looking at the page (URL) instructions on starting the handy board as I just completed the interface. From the parts list, either the MC68HC11A1FN or the MC68HC11E1FN are acceptable, but on this page, the picture of the handy board has an A0FN (...) I was wondering if someone could check out this code. I got it to work w/ just the touch sensors and motors. But I added photocells to it and added the code in for that and now the LCD panel reads....231>Press START after I press start it says... (...) Just starting with the HB and already problems Im having problems getting the 9 to 10 volts out of pins 3-7 of J9 (the RS232 connector) when pins 6 and 10 of the MAX232 are shorted in the last paragraph of step 3.2.2. Remover the motor chip closest to you. The pins are correct. I never used a resistor. I don't remeber what the reason for using one is. Perhaps someone can repeat it. I've never used a capacitor either. I've achieve 7" but not lower. Has anyone seen (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
