I'm still having problems with the Vector 2x compass. I tried resetting the compass as Tom Brusehaver instructed and I spent some time going over the schematic. 1) Doesn't using motor driver chip pins 1 and 9 disable correct operation of that motor chip. That is, when you poke to those outputs, doesn't that effect the motor outputs of that chip? 2) Aside from the difficulties involved in writing assembly (...) Hi Fred, I have an idea! I was wondering if it would be too much trouble to zip all the pictures up into one file so some of us can ftp it. (...) I am using a Garmin GPS-35PC. This thing looks like a computer mouse without the buttons. It is a 12-channel parallel unit, but has no display or keyboard. Hi Fred, I saw your LEGO robot picture that you put up. I am interrested on track threads on the robot. Could you tell how to get a hand on ones ? I do no think they are LEGO parts, are they ?
