| | Connecting a Sharp GP1U58Y
Hi. I'm trying to connect a Sharp GP1U58Y 38KHz IR detector to one of the analog inputs. The problem is that the device outputs a voltage and doesn't seem to be pull down transistor device so the internal 47K pullup seems to be messing it up. Any (...) | | part number for ceramic resonator X1?
Hi, the parts list for the Handyboard doesn't list a part number for a ceramic resonator, only for an 8mHz crystal. Does anyone know the number for the substitute ceramic resonator? Thanks, Duncan (27 years ago, 28-Apr-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi, I can't locate the Sharp IS1U60 IR demodulator anywhere. Everyone seems to be out of stock or requires a minimum order. Has anyone had any luck getting one of these recently? Thanks, Duncan (27 years ago, 28-Apr-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

The current still goes through the chip. 1 amp max. But now it will get more hot cuz you disipate more power accross the integrated transistors with the higher voltage. I think Fred mentioned that there was a thermal shutdown. (Is this true?) But I (...) (27 years ago, 28-Apr-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
