I have just had no success at all finding this part in the UK. I even talke to Hitachi UK and was told that if I wanted any it would have to be 100+ with a 20 week lead time! Suggestions Anyone???... Was wondering if anyone has an alternate solution to stepping a bipolar stepper? Currently.... Tom: Your tests, specifically the fact that the HB's PWR LED comes on after download fails, demonstrate conclusively that the HB can *receive* data from your PC. I'm trying to download the pcode_hb.s19 file to the handy board and I'm having a very hard time. I using win95 on a P5 and 200mhz. I setup the com port settings at 110 and no data flow. (...) I use Futabas. The 32.768 mS interval is convenient because the 68HC11's 16-bit timer on a 2 MHz clock overflows at that time, allowing easier programming of the TOC functions. Hi Wade, You can use the "seconds()" function which reports elapsed time, plus a variable to keep track of when the loop should end: void main() { float end_time; end_time= seconds() + 20.; /* go for 20 seconds */ while (seconds() < end_time) { /* (...) Hope someone can help, I have just written my first code for my bot. All I have done so far is make my bot go forward in about a 4 foot square area.
