I am trying to find info on networking HC11's too. If anyone knows where to find example code for networking any type of HC11 board, I'd be interested. (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  (no subject)

Hi everybody, I already asked information about the SCI bus of the 68HC11. I had like to make a network, but I don't know which one to use: I2C, SCI, CAN, ... Did anybody knows information about this, or wrote some driver for I2C for instance? (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Received handyboard :-( ... ---> ... :-)

YES! The handy board 1.2 got another happy user! I received the Handy Board with an American 120/60 adapter instead of an European but except for paying a lot of money for that item being shipped to the bin there are plenty European transform (...)   Re: Sonar

Sorry, no immediate help, but we have two Polaroids and ordered Handyboard today, so we'll be getting the sonar active the rest of this week and hooking up to HB early next week, so we'll share what is happening. (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: frame material

One good source for mechanical parts and stock material is Small Parts Inc. They have a nice catalog with lots of extra information - a must have for robotics experimenters, IMHO. (...) When I used to build aluminum robots I bought it at the hardware store. They usually have racks of metal, steel, aluminium, and sometimes copper and brass. Hobby stores sell small pieces also.   frame material

Hi, Does anyone know of a good place to get material for building a frame for a robot - preferably aluminum? This is for a robot who's overall size is app. 12 inches by 12 inches so it needs to be something like 3/4 inch channel with some thickness (...)   Re: Black + White Camera

The Wavecom Jr. from RFLink (~170$ for a xmit/receive pair) does color video and stereo audio in the 2.5Ghz band. Much better than the 900Mhz stuff. Can get it from Sharper Image (1-800 something...call 1800 555 1212 and ask). Can run off 12V (...) (28 years ago, 4-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
