One good source for mechanical parts and stock material is Small Parts
Inc. They have a nice catalog with lots of extra information - a must
have for robotics experimenters, IMHO. The address:

     13980 NW 58th Court
     PO Box 4650
     Miami Lakes, FL 33014-0650
     800 220-4242
     800 423-9009 fax

Not sure if they're on the Web... Happy hunting.

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good place to get material for building a frame for
a robot - preferably aluminum?  This is for a robot who's overall size is
app. 12 inches by 12 inches so it needs to be something like 3/4 inch
channel with some thickness to it (but it has to be light too, of course).

thanks,

Scott
