I did a little competition in 3 hours with my FLL team: Circle containing 5-7 cans (some light, some heavy, some thin+tall, some fat+short) Robot starts in 8"x8" green box outside the circle. For a "Take Your Kids To Work Day", we are looking at providing an afternoon of Lego Mindstorms for Grade 9 students (age 14-15). I have just finished this EXACT book, so I'm sorry, but its a little too late to collaborate. :) And although the audience is broader than the other books, i certainly have not left adults out, as there are plenty of advanced concepts in the book as (...) Head to your local TRU they did have some really cheap cyber slam sets. I got a spider slayer for $15.00 and a second one for $7.50 because the box was severely mutilated. Howdy, ...very nice! I still like my school's design with a mobile cart and removeable tubbies for the majority of parts. ( Take a look at (URL) for an example ). Howdy ...at the PCS Centers we have several approaches to this problem. 1) At the Learning Centers, and on our web version of the school ( www.edventures.com ), we use a "badge" program.
