  What happened?
 
Aarrrrrrggg...ggghhh...hhh. The mailing list (using e-mail to read/post to this discussion board) support seems to have fizzled with the server move. This is mostly a test post. I've tried re-subscribing, but that doesn't seem to work either. And (...) (25 years ago, 8-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

On your website is the question, "What about the two rectangular-solid, partly-hollow thingies that are connected to the motors via a shaft?" I believe they are yellow worm gear boxes (see accessories set 5288). (...) (25 years ago, 8-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Which mailing list? I'm looking in the lugnet.com server logs for outgoing mail, and it's still sending out news by e-mail. I'm also still receiving digests daily. (...) I just wrote to Russell Nelson (who runs the lego-robotics@crynwr.com mailing list) and asked if he knows anything about this. Hopefully we'll know more later. (...) Russell wrote back earlier today and said that the machine running his list had stopped communicating with the network for a few hours. So that's why messages stopped being exchanged between LUGNET and Russell's mailing list. Russell rebooted (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.admin.general)
