I just wrote to Russell Nelson (who runs the lego-robotics@crynwr.com mailing
list) and asked if he knows anything about this.  Hopefully we'll know more
later.

In the meantime, near as I can figure, it looks like the lego-robotics
@crynwr.com mailing list went offline sometime on Saturday, December 4.
The last message it sent this direction was:

   http://www.lugnet.com/news/raw.cgi?lugnet.robotics:8826

Oddly, it hasn't bounced any of the mails it's been receiving in the other
direction (from lugnet.robotics@lugnet.com).  Again, Russell should be able
to shed some light on this.  Most likely, all of the messages are queued up
for delivery, and people subscribing through that gateway will get a deluge
of mail when the list comes back up.

All of the lugnet groups, its newsserver and its mailserver are still running
of course (that's how you're seeing this :-) so if you're reading this today
via the web or NNTP and you really prefer email, you can always subscribe
directly (digest or immediate delivery) via the lugnet news-by-mail facility:

   http://www.lugnet.com/news/mail/

and you'll be all set.  Then when the other list comes up, you'll still be
all set, but you'll also receive the additional traffic that list brings.
