Indeed.  I was thinking more of homebrew sensors.  Of course, these need
to be electrically insulated before dunking in liquids, to avoid false
readings.  Cheers,

  And don't forget that the boiling point of water varies *significantly*
with altitude above sea level.  The higher up, the lower the boiling point.
