Greetings all,
Has anyone found any interesting applications for the Pneumatic Hand-Pump?
I found myself puzzling over my rapidly growing collection of them. It does
not seem to be well suited for a compressor due to it's size and the spring.
I have thought about placing them opposite each other to 'cancel' out the
spring effect, but can's seem to attach them rigidly enough at the top.
I have thought about *gasp* removing the spring.
I have thought about using them in some clever bump detection scheme.
I have thought about using them for almost everything except their intended
implementation.
Anyone care to throw this one around for awhile?
Thanks!

| I seems to recall that the Recycler pictured in the Mindstorms box uses such a large hand-pump as its compresser pump, even with the spring still attached. (The picture from the Mindstorms web site is taken from another angle, hence the compresser (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics)
