You might want to be careful making these sorts of statements in a public
forum like this. Technically Borland still has copyright on their
compiler and this is still piracy (yes, I think its a bit silly since
this product hasn't been made for years and really has no position in
today's marketplace).
http://www.simtel.net/simtel.net/msdos/c.html lists a number of free
and shareware C compilers for DOS. I'm sure that at least some of
them work on 286s.
