This has long been a curiosity of mine; I understand the general idea of
increasingly braking an idler gear on the axle that is going faster (I presume
the braking is proportional to the difference of the speeds, which I further
guess is due to a second differential...) Well, anyway, as you can see, I am
just purely guessing. Can anyone tell me _exactly_ how the mechanism works
on a limited slip differential? (I am crossing my fingers that it is not
a system based on viscous liquids and that there is a solution made entirely
of gears...) And the final $20,000 question is: Has anyone implemented one
purely in Lego, and if so, would they be so kind as to post pictures or LDraw
data? Pretty please?
