There are currently two alternative programming solutions for the NXT. NBC is a assembly language programming solution that is incorporated as part of the BricxCC development environment. It is open source. It uses the standard NXT firmware. See (...) (19 years ago, 1-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Dear Geoffrey, Thanks fr answering so fast. RCX version is 2. It was working fine until I uploaded the application. Tower and RCX communicate perfectly well. After running the application it stoped the communication. The rest seems to be working (...) (19 years ago, 1-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

I have uploaded a program based on ERIKA to the RCX. It didn't work properly as I have to take off the batteries to shut it down. When I tried to communicate with it again it seems that the IR is dead. Even if the rcx beeps and I can select the demo (...) (19 years ago, 1-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi people, After a lot of effort and googling around, i managed how to make a cheap "blue soleil" USB bluetooth dongle comunicate with NXT.
