TLG can say about code you write for yourself. But, if youre sharing that
code, it could easily look like LEGO officially endorces it, if its called
NXT.NET or something like that. In which case, they may ask you to change
the name. Just avoid that, by using another name.

Steve, do you think TLG would object to leJOS NeXT? Legally I it should be okay,
since I dont think people can trademark a common word like Next. Im not
sure if capitalization of letters matters with regards to trademarks though.
Someone in our group also mentioned that Steve Jobs defunct operating system
was called NeXT. As far as I know, thats dead now so he couldnt object to it,
but maybe someone has a more informed view on this.

| (...) NeXT Software was the company, NeXTcube and NeXTstation were the two machines, and NeXTSTEP was the OS. After Apple acquired NeXT (it's more the other way around, actually), a lot of the NeXTSTEP features carried over into Mac OS X, such as (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)
