Looks like you need a superstructure of some kind. You can go up pretty
high as long as you leave the RCX itself towards the bottom for balance.
Maybe it could go sideways between the front & back sections?
It's tricky, but some sort of linkage might enable a structure that doesn't
require all 90* angles. I'm thinking like a roll cage of sorts... You need
to find a clever way to attach technic parts at right angles to the front &
rear crossbars.

With the right bracing, I think so. I'm a bit worried about the wheels
staying vertical though. It's a really nice start.
